There is no basis for a local authority to refuse or reject a professionally obtained assessment simply because it was obtained privately. A robust assessment that adheres to the SIGN / NICE guidelines are equally as valid as an assessment obtained by the NHS. Ms Chantelle Dobson, Dr Alexis Chalmers, Claire Clark, Alison Hall and Fiona Campbell are highly experienced neurodiversity specialist clinicians, adhere to the current SIGN / NICE guidelines and are registered with the necessary regulatory bodies.

The team have extensive experience assessing, diagnosing, and supporting children and adults with autism and a range of other neurodevelopmental profiles. All clinicians have worked within the NHS as neurodevelopmental specialists for many years prior to moving on to private practice and we feel fortunate to continue to have good links and relationships with our NHS colleagues.
