Educational Psychologist
Elisa graduated with an M.A (Hons.) in Psychology from Glasgow University in 2003. After completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary) in 2005, Elisa was a Primary Teacher before completing her M.Sc in Educational Psychology in 2009.
Prior to working in the private sector, Elisa worked as an Educational Psychologist for 15 years in Local Authorities. Within this role, Elisa gained extensive experience in providing individual assessments in a multi-disciplinary context to help to identify a wide variety of Additional Support Needs. Elisa has been involved in developing appropriate support plans and educational placement for children and young people, including statutory assessment for specialist provision with the Local Authority.
Elisa has particular professional expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder and the interplay between neurodevelopmental differences and trauma.
Elisa is passionate about providing skilled and timely assessment in order to ensure clients and those around them fully understand their unique profile of strengths and how they can best be supported in order to meet their potential.
