Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Neurodevelopmental Assessment Stirling These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our neurodevelopmental assessment services and website. By accessing our services or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
1. Our Services
We provide private neurodevelopmental assessments and related clinical services for children, adolescents, and adults. Our services include:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) assessments
- Language Delay and Developmental Language Disorder assessments
- Cognitive assessments
- Diagnostic formulation and written reports
- Post-diagnostic support and consultation
All assessments are carried out by qualified clinicians in accordance with UK clinical guidelines (e.g. NICE and SIGN guidelines).
2. Eligibility
By booking an appointment, you confirm that:
- You are aged 18 or over or are a parent/legal guardian booking on behalf of a minor
- You have the authority to consent to the assessment
- The individual being assessed is based in the UK and eligible for private health services
3. Booking, Fees and Payment
- Appointments can be made accessing our email: ndassessmentstirling@protonmail.com
- A deposit (of £300) is required to confirm your appointment.
- Full payment is due 48hours before the final scheduled assessment appointment.
- Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer
- Fees are clearly stated on our website and Welcome Pack, if you need further information please email us.
We reserve the right to revise fees at any time but will honour quoted prices once a booking is confirmed.
4. Cancellations and Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing through email or text message at least 48 hours in advance.
- Late cancellations or non-attendance will be charged at the full assessment fee.
- If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will offer you an alternative date or full refund.
- Refunds will not be issued for services already delivered.
5. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Information disclosed during assessments is treated as confidential.
- Exceptions apply where there is a risk of serious harm to self or others, or where required by law.
- Your data will be securely stored and only accessed by authorised clinical staff.
- You have the right to access, amend or request deletion of your data at any time, subject to clinical and legal obligations.

6. Clinical Reports
- A written clinical report will be provided following the assessment.
- Reports are typically issued within 3 weeks, depending on complexity or additional assessments carried out.
- Reports are intended for clinical use and may not be reproduced or copied without consent from Neurodevelopmental Assessment Stirling.
7. Limitations of Service
- Our assessments are based on the information available at the time and may not result in a diagnosis. Please see our Welcome Pack for more details
- We do not offer emergency or crisis services. If urgent support is required, contact NHS 111, your GP, or emergency services (999).
- Any recommendations are clinical suggestions and not legally binding.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, including text, images, and documentation on our website and in our reports, remains the intellectual property of Neurodevelopmental Assessment Stirling and may not be copied, used or shared without our prior written consent.
9. Liability
We take care to provide high-quality assessments. However:
- We are not liable for decisions made by third parties based on our reports.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
- Each associate clinician operates as an independent clinician under the trading name of Neurodevelopmental Assessment Stirling. Neurodevelopmental Assessment Stirling shall bear no liability or responsibility for the clinical activities, actions, or omissions of such associates.
10. Complaints
We take feedback seriously. If you are dissatisfied with any part of our service:

- We will acknowledge complaints within 7 days and aim to resolve them promptly.

11. Amendments

12. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
